I am an artist by heart and have been interested in painting since I can remember. As a child I would spend hours watching my grandmother paint at her beach side home, intently studying her every stroke of the brush. She was a talented artist who's oils captured the richness of the San Francisco city life and her sea scape's captured the majestic northern coast side. Although my style and journey in the arts is unique to me, my grandmother has been a whispering voice of motivation in pursuing the life of an artist and contractor.

As a young girl, I painted banners and signs for my local school and church where I attended. This experience was to later become the backdrop to my large scale murals. I later studied art application and history in college. After graduating, I taught art in schools in the Santa Clara and Contra Costa counties. I also worked as a designer combining color and paint to textiles.

I began painting murals and faux finishes in the early 1990's, and became a licensed painting contractor.

Coatmasters Painting features an extensive art department that specializes in unique custom finishes on walls, cabinets, flooring, pillars, and trim work. Our sophisticated finishes and murals can add a measure of brilliance to your home, restaurant, office, or church.
